Beautiful original unrestored condition, 1950's Doepke American LaFrance Ladder Fire Truck by Model Toys of Rossmoyne, Ohio. This truck has been in my personal collection for may years and is in remarkable shape. The toy features steerable front wheels, aluminum aerial ladder that raises and extends, two original steel accessory ladders, fully functional LOUD wind up siren, front fender bell with original clapper, original clear plastic windshield, original string for aerial ladder extention and all original hardware; nothing reproduction. The toy had minimal playtime prior to coming into my possesion and has been one of my many pressed steel focal points in my office. It has scattered scratches and imperfections but overall, as the pictures show, extremely nice and very collectible. With the aerial ladder in the collapsed position, the toy is 34 1/2" to the front bumper and weighs a bit over 8 pounds. USPS Priority shipping is $18.95 in the lower 48, Alaska, Hawaii by quote.
