DOLL -ANTIQUE – KUHNLENZ- MAIDEN - Ca 1900 - Thisbeautiful example of Gebrüder Kuhnlenz turn-of-the-century work is truly lovely. Founded by brothers; Julius, Bruno and Cuno Kuhnlenz in 1884, their porcelain factory was located in Kronach, Bavaria, Germany. Gebrüder Kuhnlenz dolls are of very good quality. This is a Gebrüder Kuhnlenz, antique bisque head Dolly face doll, mold 165 , approximately 16" tall, with a bisque socket head, sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, feathered painted eyebrows, open mouth with upper teeth, jointed composition body. The marks, by line, as shown in the photo are: G br 165 K; 0; Germany. More than a century in age, the doll is in remarkable condition.
