Don Prudhomme was known for his yellow 1970 Plymouth Barracuda in which he raced rival driver Tom McEwen in his red 1970 Plymouth Duster, named Mongoose. Both drivers gained wider public attention from Mattel's original "Hot Wheels" toy versions of the cars that were released in 1970. Up for auction is a Hard to find Legends set of 1:24 and 1:64 scale cars of Don "The Snake" Prudhomme "Snake" and Tom "Mongoose" McEwen that were released back in 1997, BOTH items in their original factory boxes with all accompanying paperwork . The winning bidder will receive both cars listed. There is a Snake 1:24 and 1:64 car and a Mongoose 1:24 and 1:64 car. Both sets of cars include the titles that come with the cars. Please check out the pictures. Please read: We opened the Mongoose to inspect but we have left the Snake in its original factory sealed state. If you view the last picture provided, which is a stock photo, we provided that picture so that potential bidders will be able to see the detailed design of each car.
