Donald Duck 60th Birthday Poster by Gottfried Helnwein - SOLD OUT/OUT OF PRINT Inspired by the art of the original "Duck Man" Carl Barks!!!
WAK! In 1994, the feisty fowl turned 60 years young, and German artist Gottfried Helnwein commemorated the occasion with a rendered portrait of Donald relaxing in his comfiest chair and reading of his comic book exploits. The ducky lamp base, the image of Daisy Duck on the teacup, and the illustrations on the comic are all based on the art style of Carl Barks, who is credited for rounding out Donald's persona, and created the world of Duckburg, and most of its famous web-footed citizens, especially Scrooge McDuck!
The poster is on quality, middle-weight, semi-gloss stock and measures 23.5" W x 31.5"H. It was printed by Toni Morell Art Publishing Ltd.. has never been hung, and is long sold out/out of print. In M-NM condition, and will ship to you in a sturdy mailing tube. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
