Listed for auction is a collection of Doolittle Raider autographs signed on various formats such as photographs, letters and cards. The auction includes the following, 1] a [ALS] autograph letter signed by William M. Bower on his personal letterhead and dated 28, May 78. The letter is has interesting content, he talks about his crew, running out of fuel, the targets they bombed, etc, 2] A note [to a autograph collector] dated 10 Nov 77, signed by Harold ''Doc'' Watson, 3] A photograph signed on the verso by Horace E. Sally Crouch. The image on the photograph was originally taken in China and shows various crew members along with Colonel Doolittle and he comments about were and when the photograph was taken. 4] A letter/note dated 20 August 78 [to a autograph collector] signed by Charles J. Ozuk. 5] A photograph of crew #3 dedicated and signed by Charles J. Ozuk. 6] A photograph of David W. Pohl [WW II image] dedicated and signed. 7] Carl Wildner Crew #2 autograph signed on a card. 8] William L. Birch Crew #11 autograph signed on a card to a autograph collector. 9] Charles L. McClure Crew #7 autograph on a card. 10] Robert Hite Crew #16 autograph signed on a card. 11] Waldo Bither Crew#12 autograph signed on a card to a autograph collector. 12] Harry C. McCool Crew #4 autograph signed on a card and dated 7 August 1978. 13] A photograph signed on the verso by Horace Ellis Sally Crouch. He comments about the image of a B-25 on the front of the photograph. 14] A small photograph of Horace Crouch signed on the verso, he also added the names of his crew members. 15] A photograph of J. Roydan Stork Crew #10 dedicated and signed. 16] A signed color picture [polaroid] of Bert M. Jordan Crew #4. 17] A pamphlet signed by Jacob DeShazer Crew #16. 18] An [ALS] autograph letter signed by Charles L. McClure. It has interesting content, he talks about each of his crew members and were they are. 19] A card signed by Harold Watson with excellent content about the raid, he comments about the japanese fishing boat which spotted the Hornet, low fuel, bailing out over China. 20] A photograph of Doolittle crew members in China dedicated and signed by Horace Ellis Crouch of Crew #10 on the front and he has identified them on the verso. The autographs are authentic, hand signed and they will be a nice addition to any millitary/Doolittle collection.
