Josef Lidl Double French Horn. Boosey and Hawkes. This is a 4 valve french horn made by Josef Lidl for Boosey and Hawkes. Model 400 All valves have recently been lubricated with valve oil and work. All sliders also move smoothly. There are signs of solder repairs, but these seem to have been neatly done. Look at the photo's. There are no significant dents, but there are scratches reflecting the instruments age and use. A mouthpiece is NOT supplied. I expect most players will want to use their own anyway for hygiene reasons. Has a removable leather (?) cover on the bit where you get hold of it. The case is a little scuffed on the outside, but is otherwise Ok and works well, with all catches closing securely. Low Start Price, so bidders might well get a bargain.
