HELLO AGAIN FELLOW STRUMMERS I JUST WANT TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE HAD FAITH IN THESE STRINGS.. MY EVENINGS ARE SPENT WITH ME AND THE AMAZING MRS HAPPY SAT IN FRONT OF THE TELLY PACKAGING THESE STRINGS...A BIG THANKS ALSO TO MY WAYWARD SON FOR THE ARTWORK ON THE PACKETS..... i have come up with these which i call "lil barney's strings "as that was what i used to be known as and the cute picture on the front of the packet is me in 1948 (you should see me now).... these strings are APPROX 80cms long and are ideal for soprano/standard ukes and also concert sized ukes ....they are also ideal for banjo ukes and also he long scale banjo ukes....... EACH PACKET CONTAINS TWO SETS OF STRINGS each string is a d if fe re nt colour..... this is not as daft as it sounds as it helps distinguish each string .....as the gauge of each nylon string does not vary much from string to string it makes each string much easier to identify....also when teaching ,rather than direct pupils to the 1st string or 4th string which some people confuse you can just direct them to the colour.....and apart from anything else i think they are rather pretty and fun .... the gauges are 0 .60mm up to 0.82mm which gives an even sound as i have found that some strings vary the gauges from string to string so much that the sound between the strings are read more
