This is a rare & collectible 1941 vintage Douglas Aircraft Co. / Douglas Airview poster of the B-19 Bomber at take-off. Published in 1941 by the Douglas Aircraft Co. Inc. this poster measures 18 1/4" by 12 1/4" and it shows the B-19 Bomber taking off presumably for the first time in front of the Douglas Aircraft company hangars with hundreds of people including some of the roofs of the buildings watching. The poster includes specs of the aircraft on the back with the title which reads "World's Largest Airplane B-19 Bomber built by Douglas Aircraft Company for U.S. Army Air Corps.". The poster is in fair condition with wrinkles, fold marks, thumb-tack holes, and soiling however due to its rarity with very few likely to be surviving I bet a collector would still like to own this original vintage piece of WWII ephemera / memorabilia!Satisfaction Guaranteed. 30-Day return Policy.
