This is a rare chance to own an original piece of a World War Two Douglas A-26 Invader Bomber. After World War Two the A-26 was redesignated the B-26.This gauge is in excellent conditon with no cracks or chips. It is marked Left. 0-100 gallons Right 0-100 gallons AUX Fuel 0-125 gallons. It is 3 1/4 by 3 1/4 by 2 inches. This aircraft flew in WWII, The Korean War and in the Vietnam war. Very few aircraft had such a lenghty career. Today this twin engine bomber may still be seen used as Fire Bombers in some countries. This gauge may have seen combat as it was removed from an aircraft being scrapped at Kingman Army Airfield at the end of WWII. The B-26 was used in the movie"Always ".
