is an antique pitcher or ewer by Doulton Burslem, hand painted and decorated in cobalt and gold, with beautiful irises. According to an inquiry letter from the previous owner to Royal Doulton, this piece dates between 1886 and 1891, and was designed by Edward Raby, a famous Doulton designer. The pattern was called "Blue Iris." It stands a touch under 10" high. It is in perfect condition - no chips, no cracks, no crazing and no stains. T is crazing that shows on the bottom of the pitcher by the marks, but it is not evident on the body of the piece. Please email me with any questions or requests for more photos and I will be happy to oblige. No reserve. Buyer pays shipping. Pickup at my home is also available. I do not charge a handling fee. Bid with confidence, your satisfaction is guaranteed. I pack very carefully with bubble wrap and double or triple box when necessary. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
