A Doulton Lambeth advertising ware match holder striker that was made for the Scarborough and Whitby Breweries Ltd.The brewery was taken over by Camerons of Hartlepool in 1955.The impressed pattern number 8409 dates the piece to between1921-1923.The match holder is 4 3/4" in diameter at the base,3" tall and 1 3/4" in diameter at the top..Impressed on base is DOULTON LAMBETH ENGLAND(See Photo)
