Adorable 3-layer Custom 3D Dachshund Framed Paper Piecing These little cuties were inspired by my own mini-doxies, Ellie and Molly, who are never far from their ball or bone, and always ready to play! Its hard to capture the detail with photos. This auction is for one framed piecing that comes in four different colors. See photos for all the colors available. They can either hang on the wall or sit on a shelf or table -- the absolute perfect Christmas gift for the doxie-lover in your life or yourself! The 5" x 7" size makes it perfect to use in a grouping or tuck in with other collectibles. H andcrafted with care, I use a base layer printed with my 4-color laser printer on high-quality coated matte finish paper. The text on this layer will be customized with your doxie's name(s) and a custom message across the top. Then I add two hand-cut layers of textured, acid-free, lignin-free cardstock and use pop-up "spacers" for a 3D effect. I use metallic paper for the tag on the collar. Details include collar with tag, tiny pink tongue, bone and ball. I hand cut the pieces and assemble with care. The finished "doxie art" is then placed in a 5" x 7" black wooden frame (the glass is removed to allow room for the depth of the pieces.)
