MIB Dragon WWII 1/6 Kriegsmarine Seaman Matrose "Felix" Dieppe 1942. Dieppe was an ill-conceived raid on the French Coast at Dieppe. Bad planning, lack of intelligence on the beach shingle (a band of rocks that stopped almost all the tanks) and some bad luck made this a disaster for the Allies. Canadian Troops were used, and over 60% were killed, wounded or captured. The legend of "Festung Europa," or "Fortress Europe" was born, and it would be 2 years before the allies again tried to invade France. #70239
