Pettingill is the subject of the book, Norman Pettingill, Backwoods Humorist , and of my article, “A Visit with Norman Pettingill,” published in the 2003 issue of Comic Art magazine (long out of print; check eBay for copies!).Pettingill’s return address was clipped from the front of the envelope, to protect the privacy of those currently living in his former home. Envelope overall is in good condition. It was cut open cleanly at the left edge. The address on the front of the envelope is no longer valid.
