Antique Dressel Railroad Lantern from the WONDERFUL KATY Railroad. Missouri, Kansas, Texas aka MKT Railroad. MKT ceased being an independent railroad in 1988 when it was purchased by Union Pacific.Lantern is ALMOST all original and in "unfired" condition. Bail, Hood, basket, burner, base, glass globe are all straight and in exceptional shape. Three things cosmetically are not perfect with this lantern - surface rust on basket and cage, rust on burner pot and at one time this lantern was electrified for light bulb and bottom has been soldered to strengthen cord access hole.Lantern displays well and would work beautifully as a functioning lantern.Will ship ONLY TO U.S. Lower 48 states. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS! Will ship via FedEx ground for flat rate of $16. Will need a working phone number for the weigh bill.I depicted and represented this lantern accurately and honestly and therefore will not accept returns on this item.
