The Item up for Auction: Dressel Railroad Passenger Car / Caboose Oil Lamp Dressel Arlington , N.J. USA tag on steel the frame. Weight 5 lbs Mounted on an 18" x 2 ½" Steel Frame 7" Smoke Bell above Globe 9" Tall Globe Eagle Burner, Brass Plated, "P&A MFG CO Waterbury Conn , Made in USA " Metal Fount 6" deep x 13" Circumference The Burner screws into the Fount and holds a 1"Wick The top globe has a spring around it to hold the globe in place. This like most of the other lanterns I have listed, has been professionally restored. They have been either brought back to their original non-painted surface or as in the case of this lamp it was cleaned striped and painted to match its original color. After extensive research the only non-original aspect to these lamps are the mounting holes drilled in the steel plate to accommodate screw heads. The collector I purchased these from had them mounted as a pair, one on each side of the entrance door to his great room. I am selling 2 of these separately but at the same time. The buyer who wins both of these will be charged shipping costs for only 1 lamp. 5 lbs plus packaging. I will pay for the shipping weight of the second lamp. Both must be sent to the same address I dismantle and inspect every lantern I sell to guarantee that all parts are original and in working order. Please
