Up for auction is my prized and rare Dual Custody Yale Bicentric padlock. This padlock has two pin tumbler cylinders. And unlike normal Bicentric padlocks, this one requires both keys to open. This is in almost mint condition! It has factory embossed Yale keys! They don't come finer than this one! Also, this padlock is unusual because of its markings. Typically a Bicentric Padlock is marked "Change" and "Master," but this one is marked "Change" and "GUARD." I've never seen another like it. Did it come from a Jail, Prison or Bank??? I don't know. That's why it's so cool. Two out of three of the Guard keys are stamped Guard. The change keys are unstamped. You must first insert the Guard key and turn it. It rotates about 50 degrees. Then you insert the change key and turn it. It will free the shackle. If you only insert the change key, the change cylinder will only rotate about 20 degrees. Sometimes the change cylinder requires a jiggle to open it. This is probably because of lack of lubrication. I have no graphite, and it clearly states on top on the padlock to only lubricate with graphite. This padlock works and is the most interesting Bicentric Padlock I've ever owned. I guarantee the winning bidder will love it.Sold as is. Paypal only please. USA addresses only please. Please pay within 2 days.
