Excellent restored vintage Dubl Duck - GOLDEDGE straight razor. Blade has been cleaned and given a very high polish. A few small spots on blade and original grind marks. Gold on shank and tail has worn off. Overall, this blade is excellent and is an excellent shaver. Pins are tight and blade closes on center. Scales are original cracked ice celluloid, with "GOLDEDGE" inlay. They are also in good condition. No major nicks, but there is a letter "j" scratched into the side of one of the scales (see pics). Inlay is fine. There is no warping of the scales. T hey have been cleaned and polished and look very nice. Blade grind is a full hollow. Moderate hone wear that is slightly toe heavy. Blade measures right between 11/16ths and 6 /8 ths. This blade was probably a "6/8" model blade. Razor measures 6 1/4 inches closed and 9 5/8 inches open.Blade stamp reads - Dubl Duck - Goldedge on front. Back of blade is stamped - PEARLDUCK - Dubl Duck - SOLINGEN-GERMANY. Blade has been honed and is SHAVE READY! I will ship worldwide. I will combine shipping.
