THE DUBLIN PENNY JOURNAL; J.S.Folds, 56 Great Strand Street. 42 Issues, from No.7 Vol.1 August 11th 1832 to No.52 Vol.1 June 1833. 3 issues missing, Sept.8th & 15th [1832] and June 12th [1833]. Bound in 8"x 11" boards which are in poor condition with bumps and marks and the usual ageing process, [see photo's]. Contents foxed and browned occasionally but very good, again see photo's. These papers are valuable for archaeological and other historical articles on Ireland, North and South. Found single issues selling up to £40 plus, these 42 issues have to be good value in this condition at £30 the lot.
