*RARE* DUKE - Drucquer & Son, Berkeley, California since 1928, Full Bent Description*RARE* DUKE - Drucquer & SonBerkeley, California since 1928Bull Bent Classic, Saddle StemEarly, In Excellent Condition!Offering a pipe simply labeled DUKE , which is early and in great shape. I had a pipe with the same marking DUKE a few years ago, and it also had Drucquer & Son, Berkeley stamping, and it was crafted and labeled for the tobacconist shop of Drucquer & Sons in Berkeley, CA. and this one is simply DUKE. I'm not sure of the actual maker but it's likely early, as it's only stamped DUKE , which is unusual after the 1920's. I'm guessing the pipe is from the 1920's but that's speculation on my part. The bowl is in great shape, with almost no wear, draw hole comes in about bottom center, so it should be a nice smoker. The stem is original, saddle bit with some very minor tooth impressions. Pipe weighs in about 2.0 ounces, draws easy, polished and ready to smoke!DRUCQUER & SONS LTD - A BERKELEY tobacconist at 2059 University Avenue, just below Shattuck.
