DUMB DORA LUCKY BUCKS 2 UP (UNCUT) 3-26-33DUMB DORA BING BROADCASTING====================================================Let me introduce you to "Lucky Bucks" play money. The Great Depression of the 1930's inspired E. C. Segar, Popeye's creator to invent "Lucky Bucks" play money. Money was scare and children's toys were not in the family budget. The Sunday newspaper looked out for the children of that day. In the colored Sunday section they featured paper dolls, comic trading stamps and "Lucky Bucks" comic play money. Children were encouraged to cut out, collect and use them in their playful activities. The newspaper used comic characters to show the kids playing store, at side shows and at their neighbor circus.======================================================= Items are not from a hoard but from over 40 years of collecting.I DO COMBINE SHIPPING (for this auction only not with future auctions)P& H is be marked on listing.
