This auction is for a DUNCAN ROYALE Santa Clause figurine from the HISTORY OF SANTA Volume III collection.It is the JULENISSE Santa and it is # 345 of a limited edition of 10,000 . His little gold tag on the bottom is starting to lift off. He is a little over 8" high. This piece is one of many original designs depicting legendary Santas. Each is numbered. "Julenisse, or Yule Nissen, is the Christmas gift-giver of Norway and Denmark. Children leave their shoes outside their house for the little elf with an old man's face to fill with sweets and presents".his figurine is in new condition and comes in the a Duncan Royale box, but on the top of the box it says UKKO. The box is showing some wear. Included is the History of Santa Flyer that came in the box describing the Santas and the invitation to the Duncan Royale Collectors Club and the Registration Form.Layaway 20 dollars a month until paid off. Paypal, money orders and personal checks accepted for layaway.
