Alfred Dunhill Denicotea Cigarette Holder c1940s An Alfred Dunhill gold tipped cigarette holder. It measures 3 7/8” (100mm) long and ½” (12mm) diameter at the end. The black stem is impressed with the maker’s distinctive logo of a white Spot. The gold end piece is signed Dunhill Made In England. I can’t see any hallmark so it is offered as a gold coloured metal. I'm not sure if it is solid or gilt or some other metal. The tip pulls forward to allow a cheroot to be ejected and then it pushes back and rotates to secure it. The gold tip separates from the stem with a screw thread. The end piece has a very attractive band design impressed in the body. Great condition: Some minor micro scratching to the gold section and very minor tooth abrasion at the mouthpiece but end ridge is still proud and true. No dents, no dings. This collectable holder and would make an excellent addition to any collection, or could still be used. No returns thanks.
