Dunhill "root briar" estate pipe. Condition is "Used". This is a "Cumberland" style pipe, pat. no. 17574 MADE IN ENGLAND 18 meaning it was made in 1978. Some of the printed nomenclature on this pipe is light (which is not uncommon for the Dunhill root briar pipes) and it has a nice fitting stem and nice bowl reflecting gentle prior usage. Please note the tip of the stem had some damage so I shortened it by about 1/8" and put on a new button. I think it turned out really great but judge by the pictures. This pipe was part of a collection assembled in the 60s and 70s. Thanks for looking.
