Very rare, near one of a kind Rick Grey designed Dounlop Red Neck Wilbur Pro Series putter with rare Rainbow PVD finish. The Wilbur is a classic Newport style mid slant with sight line. RG Designs (Rick Grey) won an award for this series of putters in 2005. Thier were seven Red Neck putters introduced, the Lurch, Brenda, Bubba, Double Wide, Wilbur, Wilbur XL and Airhead. They were all marketed with a Pro Platinum finish. All deep milled, forged 8620 soft carbon steel with airctaft aluminum hosels. Heads averaged at around 345 grams. Five of each model were finsihed in an expensive and unusual Rainbow PVD, (positive vapor dispersement) and none ever marketed and in fact none were factory shafted. Only heads were discovered in a warehouse with other RG Designs golf equipment that John Daly was the spokesman for. I picked up eight heads and will keep some, but I am selling this one that I shafted with a True Temper 115 gram stepless shaft and plays at 34", Winn Double Line grip and it comes with a leather zippered Red Neck headcover.
