I'm selling this impressive mid 19th century Dutch drawing. The drawing is one of a set of two sheets by the same artist (depicting the same subject).The drawing, executed in charcoal and white chalk on blue mid 19th century prepared paper, depicts several studies of biblical figures (in our opinion related to the Old Testament).Authorship : the drawing is from the Dutch Neoclassical School . Further research should be done to refine this attribution.Period : ca. 1850.Provenance :Collection A Kaufman (his stamp right below - not in Lugt). Size : 41x55,6cm.Condition : Good. Corners : slight traces of folding. Some scattered dirt throughout. Unframed. Shipping : flat shippingrate 17$. Shipped as International Registered Mail (with trackingn°). Shipped in a tube.
