This is a DVD of the well known 35th (Santa Fe) Infantry Division in WW II, which was a National Guard Division which drew men from the States of Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. The 35th Infantry Division was awarded five battle stars and six Presidential Unit Citations during WW II. The 35th Infantry Division was in combat for 264 days during WW II, and one soldier of the division was awarded the highest combat decoration - the Congressional Medal of Honor. The 35th Infantry Division entered combat in France on July 11, 1944 and fought it's way into Germany. This DVD was made using maps, division histories, old newspaper and magazine articles, many signal corps photographs, statistics, order of battle, decorations and awards, insignia, military music, military props, material from the National Archives and from German sources. This is not a Hollywood production, but a good sequential history of the 35th Infantry Division during WW II. With each purchase of this DVD we will include a sheet of 30 return address labels with the division shoulder patch and your name and address printed on them - or any other name and address you might furnish if this is meant as a gift.
