EAGLE Transporter Space: 1999 T.V. Series - pre-painted white paint scheme - plastic resin ABS/PVC simple "clip-together" model kit - with display stand - SF Movie Selection PREMIUM PACK U.F.O. Model - by KONAMI under license from CARLTON - Released in Japan 2004 - Discontinued Model - Supplied opened from original packaging with outer BOX and supplied in new condition, carefully packed with the pictorial assembly instruction leaflet. Summary This model of the Space 1999: Eagle Transporter is fully pre-painted with realistic detail and supplied part-assembled. The Eagle Transporter is a fictional spacecraft and the iconic spacecraft of the Gerry Anderson 1970s television series Space: 1999. The Eagles serve as the primary spacecraft of Moonbase Alpha, which has a fleet of them. The Eagles are primarily used to explore alien planets, defend Moonbase Alpha from attack, and to transport supplies and other items to and from the Moon. The Eagle is completely modular, the craft are divided into three basic sections: the command module, the passenger module or service pod, and the superstructure (containing the landing gear, access corridor/galley, aft compartment, fuel tanks and main propulsion system). There are a total of six parts (6 x parts) excluding the display stand; this pre-painted and highly detailed plastic resin clip-together model requires the four landing legs/feet to be cut and easily clipped together, the central module/pod can be removed as it slides in and out and seems to stay in place using friction. Model Series Details This model was released by KONAMI (of Japan) in 2004 as part of the SF MOVIE SELECTION Collection . The collection consists of a total of seven different pre-painted models from Gerry Anderson television series including Joe 90, Supercar, Stingray, U.F.O. and Space 1999 , all beautifully realised in various sizes and scales. These models are made from a dense plastic resin (ABS/PVC), and are very accurately sculpted and painted to a very high level of fine detail. Some minor clip-together assembly is required, full pictorial instructions are provided. Model and Display Stand Dimensions The EAGLE TRANSPORTER dimensions are as follows:- Max.
