Up for bid are 3 Eero Saarinen tulip side chairs for Knoll. Production line for 1978. These are in original, vintage condition (see photos). None have been painted. They are in great structural condition and are fairly good in cosmetic as well (see photos). Some do have small edge chips and cracks on the shells and tulip bases but nothing even close to being a huge significant flaw (see photos). All 3 original cushions made from brown vinyl are still very soft with no rips but do have some dirt or scuffs to it (see photos). I will clean these up as best as i can before i ship them. These chairs do not have the ususual lid with 5 bolts hardware system. These chairs are earlier prodution models with a single machine head bolt that tightens the lid from inside the base. Payment: I expect to receive the final payment in full within 7 days of auctions end. I will only accept personal checks (longer processing time), money orders, certified checks and money transfers. Shipping: I will ship these only on mondays if i am using Greyhound or UPS. I can have these delivered to NYC on weekends for a reasonable price. Local Pick-ups are welcomed.
