This auction is for a 100% vintage original Herman Miller RAR rocking chair designed by Charles Eames. The base is real and original to this chair. The chair is signed and dated 1957. The chair is in excellent condition with just enough light wear to remind you it is vintage. The salmon orange fiberglass shell is in great shape. It has an even tone with no sun fading, no chips, scrapes or cracks. The wire base has no broken welds and only very light oxidation. The wood rockers are also in excellent shape with only slight evidence of use on their underside. The extra large rubber shock mounts are perfect. Shipping to the lower 48 states will be $40.
