Vintage Fiberglass Sideshell by Charles Eames for HermanMiller on a new Rocker Base. The authentic vintage blue fiberglass shell onthis classic mid century chair is flawless with plenty of swirly fiber not found on the re-issued Herman Miller version. The chair has surprisingly little wear considering it came from a elementary school in Greenwich CT. The base is a substantial new reproduction very well crafted and true to the original design, the rocking motion is smooth and soothing. The Herman Miller logo is embossed on the underside and t are the words Media Center also written on the underside of the base of the chair (not visble). I accept Paypal, cashiers checks money orders or cash (if you're local). Sorry, no personal checks. I encourage pick-ups In Tribeca (downtown Manhattan ) zipcode 10007. Shipping for this item is a flat $35 in the continental United States and will be packaged securely in a box and shipping either with UPS or Fedex. International bidders should contact me for a quote. I only charge the actual shipping and a very small fee for the box and packaging.
