ONE Danish Modern folding rope lounge chair in the Eames Era - Hans Wegner style - MidCentury Modern style. Made in Yugoslavia. T are three chairs total available. This listing is for ONE chair. Very, very good vintage condition with light wear commensurate with age. From a local estate. Overall weave is in excellent condition with no staining. A very small bit of "give" or looseness to some of the roping or weave, but no breaks or frays. Various and small nicks to the solid hardwood frames - - but no cracks, areas of disrepair, or detractions of significance. T is a loose mortise-and-tenon joint and several loose dowel joints on the underside of two of the wood frames that should be attended to as a preventive measure and would entail a simple re-glueing - - but nothing that requires taking them apart or any other repair. Simply re-glue in place. Very nice and substantial vintage chairs ready to use and display immediately.. Photos are representative of each chair. T is very little difference in condition between each of the three chairs. Measurements: 31 inches: Height with chair unfolded 38 inches: Height with chair folded 23-1/2 inches: Seat width, frame to frame 18-1/2 inches: Seat depth 22 inches: Chairback width 20-1/2 inches : Chairback height (roped edge to roped edge) 14-1/2 inches: Top of chairseat to floor I would estimate packing and shipping to be about $40 chair, depending upon your requirements, number of chairs purchased, and your location. At end of auction, I will personally deliver these chairs to our local and family-owned pack-n-ship store, whom I have found to be very conscientious, honest, and efficient. Winning bidder must contact and deal with shipper directly to arrange shipping details, payment for shipping,and preferences. Local pick-up is also available, if you prefer.
