This is a great Vintage LAUREL METAL FLOOR LAMP with a FROSTED GLASS SHADE in a classic MUSHROOM SHAPE. The metal base has very graceful curves at the bottom similar to the SAARINEN BASES. It was manufactured mid-century by the Laurel Lamp Mfg Co. in Newark, NJ. The lamp is about 56" tall with the Globe in Place. The GLOBE is about 13" across and about 6.5" high. The BASE is about 9.5" across the Bottom The LAMP is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with NO damage to the Paint and NO damage to the Shade. It is fully functioning with its ORIGINAL WIRING. These Lamps are EXTREMELY SOUGHT AFTER and SELDOM FOUND IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION.
