Offered for your consideration is a large open compote made by the McKee and Brothers Glass Company (1835-1899) in their "Ionic" pattern. This pattern was introduced circa 1895.The compote measures 8.75 inches (22.2 cm) in diameter and is 8.25 inches (21 cm) tall.Compote is in very good used condition with no cracks, chips, nor roughness. There are several light surface scratches, see photos. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and other minor imperfections within the glass due to the manufacturing process used at the time.Compote will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping.
