Wonderful old antique circa 1884 Adams and Company EAPG "Egyptian" Large Covered Compote Set. The set is 12" high and 8 1/8" across the top of the bowl measured when the lid is removed. Looks great. There are a few minor flaws. The top lid has a small chip on the egde of the scalloped area below the top leaf decoration. The inside of the lid has some small chipping on its edge and the bottom base edge has a small chip as well. The chips on the lid edge and base edge and not found unless the lid is removed. The sphinx looks good with no roughness to the face. Great old set!!
