Feather was made by several companies beginning in the late 1890 and continuing thorugh the early part of the 1900's. You may refer to Reilly and Jenk's,book entitled, Early American Pattern Glass, for more information. The Lid is in excellent condition and shows no evidence of damage; it sits firmly on the base which also is free of damge. The table ring however has two primarly points that have been chipped/scraped;; both are approximately an inch in length. The sugar sits firmly on any surface and apart from the exception noted it is in fine condition. I have started the bidding at a relatively low amount to account for the defects described. The sugar is be sold "as is". If you have any questions, please contact me in sufficient time to provide a reply. If additional pictures are desired I will try to provide same in a timely manner. Payment may be made by personal check or money order. Bidders with negative feedback will be rejected.
