Aquatint- Bookshop by Earl Horter Original limited edition aquatint by Earl Horter titled Bookshop. In The Colophon - A Book Collectors Quarterly, Part 14 from June 1933. The aquatint is 7.75 x 5.75 inches and it is in very fine condition. This is one the more uncommon images from the colophon and has been pencil signed by Horter. Some of the articles from this issue are "The Mather Collection At Cleveland" by Thomas J. Holmes, "Harriet Martineau, Deaf Blue-Stocking" by Earnest Elmo Calkins, and "The Unicorn in Early Prints and Printed Books" by A.F. Johnson. This issue was limited to 2500 copies. The issue itself is in near fine condition with slight edgewear and rubbing to the back panel and spine. Please see our other Colophon auctions. Combined shipping is available.
