This cotton bow tie quilt top is from the early 1900's and in excellent condition. It was all sewn by hand and with great precision. It lies flatter than a pancake and points match everyw T are a great variety of vintage cottons in this pretty quilt top - indigoes, cadette blues, shirting prints, mourning prints, plaids, turkey red, burgundies and copper browns. Some of the pieces are themselves pieced so this woman was using every scrap of what she had available. The quilt top has never been used or laundered and feels crispy and fresh. Fabric is sturdy and strong. T is some storage soil on this but it is faint blushes of it rather than deep spots so I'm sure it will come out. The quilt top measures 74 x 85".
