This is a stunning hand carved cameo that we believe to be from around the turn of the century, but you can be the judge. We purchased the piece at an estate sale. The cameo appears more round in the pictures, it is NOT, it is more oblong measuring 1 3/4" long and nearly 1 1/2" wide. The cameo is thin and delicate and has great detail throughout as you can see in the pictures. It is much nicer than it appears. Around the outside is a weave design in the silver. The piece is not marked but tests for silver. The closure has two metal type clips that go around. s/h/i is $4.00 which includes delivery confirmation. .
