Up for auction is a hand-heldadvertising fan from Coffey’s Pharmacy, Plymouth, New Hampshire . On thefront you can see an attractive young lady about to dig into a bowl of ice cream. On the back it reads , “For A Cool Wave---Our Ice Cream and Sodas. No Tax on Ice Cream in Bulk. Coffey’s Pharmacy, Plymouth, N.H. This light cardboard ad is slightly tinted, as you can see in the scans. The wooden handle measures about 6” long, while the ad itself measures about 7 ½ x 9”. The fan is in good to very good condition, no tears, all complete, but with some normal surface soiling; slight crimps in the top corners. The actual fan image is sharper than the scan .I would date it from the early 1900’s. FREE SHIPPING IN THE US!
