I have four of these wonderful turn of the century flat milk glass shades listed - all are different sizes - all are old and rare! These were attached by the use of a brass fitter to a socket for the early Edison bulbs - they provide handsome hanging lighting that works both in restorations of victorian homes and are clean enough to be amazing in a mid-century designed home! These were found packed away in the basement of an old Valley Estate in Los Angeles. Anyway...enough babble - you guys know what you need so lets get to it...you are bidding on:EARLY 1900's FLAT MILK GLASS SHADEMeasures: 6.75" across bottom - Outer Opening Fitter Rim measures 2.25" - inner opening is 1.75"Condition - Excellent! Typical very very minor chipping around fitter ring - beautiful snow white opalescent old milk glass (yup-has edge fire) has straw marks and fine wrinkles as early glass is supposed to - no cracks or shade chips. A fantastic small shade - not that easy to find! See our other auctions for three more in different sizes as found in an old valley estate. If you purchase more than one of the items we have for auction - we are happy to combine for shipping savings! Anyway - I hope between the description and photos your questions are answered - feel free to call or email me with any questions you may have. Thank you for looking and Good Luck!
