Search TERRI LEE This 16" hard plastic Terri Lee is an early one. She has the raised logo TERRI LEE PAT. PENDING on her back. Her body looks good, with good face paint and no scrapes. She retains the rosy pink on her knees as well. Her right upper leg does have what looks like very light brownish spots (about 8 of them). They actually look like faint birth marks. This doll has her original wig. Unfortunately, whatever synthetic fabric this wig was made of is in the process of breaking down. You may be able to see on the bodice of her dress little pieces of the hair. I have kept her very still while I was displaying her, as it is truly falling out. However, I resisted buying her a replacement wig, because I loved the rich auburn color of this original one. I have researched before I decided to sell most of my dolls, and found an online company that sells original parts and supplies for the Terri dolls. They have wigs as well, that are true to the original hair style. HER CLOTHINGThere is better news regarding her dress than that about her hair. It is an original, tagged wedding dress, which she came in (or so I was told). The tag is sewn into the neckline and is blue script Terri Lee. The dress, made of a very lightweight synthetic fabric (probably nylon or rayon) has no tears or pulls that I see, the hem hasn't come out anywhere read more
