Up for Auction. More Stuff from a Prominent Eastern Shore Collection. Here is a Wonderful Pair of Early 19th Century Eyeglasses. The Eyeglasses have Double Green Lenses, the Side Lenses are Hinged, they have Expandable Sides & they are Marked by their Maker "S. Black, Baltimore". We are Unsure if they are Made of Coin Silver, Nickel or another type of Metal & the Color of the Lenses is a Green / Blue Color. There is some Normal Wear from over the Years, a Few Minor Scratches to the Lenses & they are Very Dirty. (see pix) Overall they are in Fine Original Condition with no cracks, breaks, bends, missing pieces or repairs, a Warm Patina has Developed & Function and Display Great. This Wonderful Pair of Early 19th C. Eyeglasses or Spectacles by a Baltimore, Maryland Maker would be an Exceptional Addition to any Collection.
