Early 19thc saltglazed stoneware made in London possibly at Mortlake or Vauxhall. The jar may have originally had a lid though there is no sign that it definitely did. It is 3.75"h x 4.75" across the rim. It has two faint hairlines down each side which are riveted under the rim, these are stable and detract very little from the pieces appearence. It is decorated with 5 sprigs which are 2 seated toppers, 2 trees and a windmill, one of the trees has a small nick to it. A nice example. Buyer pays postage.
