Rare, early 20th century lithograph of a pin up painting by well known illustrator James Ross Bryson. Bryson was famous for his risqué (for the time) art nouveau depictions of beautiful young ladies used in calendars and lithographs. He was influential on later pin up artist such as Earl Moran. Lithographs of Bryson's works are highly collectible. I originally had this work listed as an original oil painting, but that was before I actually had it in my possession to inspect closely. I don't believe it is an oil painting. It is done on thick paper that gives the appearance of canvas, as you can see in the pics. I believe it is a litho, but I am not an expert. It is definitely very old and fragile. Measures roughly 11" x 29" in frame and is really a stunning image.
