is a very early Transitional Era NC Pottery vase. This piece is probably pre 1920's. The vase is 5" tall and has the "Accidental Orange" type glaze. I would be speculating as to the maker, but it could very well be JH Owen. I'm sure you collectors of Transitional wares will know better than I do. The vase is in pretty good condition. It has no chips or repairs on it. T is a firing flaw on one side... a half moon shaped drying line or firing crack. It does NOT go through the body. T are 3-4 small areas of glaze loss down inside. Vase was found at a yardsale in Ramseur NC (Randolph County). All said, not that bad for such a rarity. Ships via Priority Insured Mail at the calculated rate. Payment options are PayPal or Money Order only, please. Thank you for viewing my listing. Ed
