This handled pantry box is a rare smaller than usual size and would be perfect as the top of that stack! The solid wooden handle is pegged and the nails are early cut iron. The surface is the original and has traces of the original red milk paint! The bottom still has the most paint. The sheen you see is the natural patina. The box is thick and heavy for its size. Just a delightful little box!Size: An unusual 7" in diameter x 5" tall not including the handle.Condition: T is one horizontal crack almost all the way around that was repaired early in its life with an old iron staple but it is solidly together and not coming apart. Even the staple has patina! Someone put old wood-grained contact paper at the inside bottom which I didn't even notice at first as it matches perfectly. Scrapes on the top as you would expect on such a utilitarian piece.I ship to USA only. I have a very low reserve on this piece so have fun.
