Here is a very nice fancy wrought iron pair of kitchen tongs . Looking to date from about 1780 to 1840, tongs features a skillfully hand wrought handle, with DAR stamped above. Condition is very good, other than one part of tong cracked partway through at center rivet. Doesn't appear to be going anywhere, and is fairly stable. Tongs measure 13 1/2" long, and 3 1/8" across handles. A nice looking early American kitchen tongs, will make a very nice addition to your period home or collection!
