Early Antique American Colonial Revival Tin Chandelier c.1880-1900 Recently purchased from a Connecticut collection of thirty five years. A tinsmith hand-made six arm chandelier for wax candles. Each curved arm is rolled and folded and attaches to the center. Thick wire is rolled under every edge which is folded. This wire pokes out below each of the six crimped tin cups. Tall and narrow conical center is riveted and resembles a witch's hat. Twelve rolled and folded chain links are also riveted and are attached to the top with their original ceiling hook. Surface is untouched and dusty in old worn dry black paint. T have been no repairs or replacements. Always hangs completely straight and even when mounted. Creates an early country look in whatever room it is hung. T is a very modest reserve to protect my initial investment. Photos show more details. Measures: 37" tall x 26" wide U.S. shipping will be FedEx $24.00 insured. Thank you for looking at all of my listings this week. Please e-mail me any questions.
