Early Antique Whig Rose Pattern Quilt. Circa est. mid to late 1800's. Entirely hand stitched,hand quilted at 8 stitches per inch.Nice thin batting. Roses done in fugitive green and turkey red. The corner red petals are done in an early calico which does show some fading. In excellent condition for age,this is an early one.I did find some minor light spotting and an area of wear on back. Measures 73" x 76".
